Fully Interactive Virtual Tours now for all Apple iPhone, iPad & iTouch Devices
If you own one the numerous internet-enabled Apple iDevices (iPhone, iPad & iPod Touch), you will probably know that none support Adobe Flash.
Why?
2 reasons: battery life and processor speed / power.
Apple devices are known for their lightweight, portable and slim design. However, Adobe Flash does use a considerable amount of processor power which is perfect for a desktop PC or laptop, but in a mobile device
is extremely precious! Therefore, running standard Flash on a mobile device would be impractical and soon run the battery flat.
However, we are pleased to announce we are one of the first virtual tour companies to be able to offer our
bespoke virtual tours that run both on standard Flash format (for desktop PCs & Macs) and iDevice support via HTML5 / CSS3.
Our HTML5 iDevice tours offer the following:
| • Auto-Detect iDevice |
Different iDevices have different screen resolutions & sizes
which limits the amount of information we can display. For
example, the iPhone 3GS has a screen resolution of 480 x 320
pixels, whereas the iPad 2 is 1,024 x 768 pixels - a huge
difference.
Our virtual tours automatically detect which iDevice you are using and loads the Skin / Graphic User Interface optimised for that iDevice.
Try it for yourself. Click the
'Click To View...' button above. If you have an iPad, the tour will include an interactive floor plan with hotspots, as well as thumbnail and arrow navigation.
With the iPhone version, with its smaller screen, you can still navigate via thumbnails and arrows, but there is no floor plan. |

Our virtual tours will still work with Browsers that do not
support HTML5, but do support Flash, so can properly playback
the tours. |

The HTML5 / CSS3 versions still retain the bespoke Graphic User
Interface that the Flash version has - including the Client
logo, colour sway, thumbnails, etc. |
