Location:
Vernon Park is located 5 miles to the north of Wolverhampton City Centre at Featherstone and is immediately adjacent to the M54 at Junction 1. The site is accessed from Cannock Road (A460), which extends southwards from Junction 1 of the M54.

Junction 10a of the M6, at the eastern end of the M54, is within 2.9 mile of the site. The motorway intersection provides direct access to Birmingham which is 15.5 miles to the south.
