A warm welcome awaits you at The Black Horse Hotel, a free house pub with bed & breakfast accommodation which is situated in Low Town on the edge of the River Severn, Bridgnorth.

The Black Horse is a Grade II listed building which dates back to the 14th Century and provides the setting for the two bars, conservatory, eleven guest rooms, breakfast room and courtyard. Every Saturday evening they offer a range of live entertainment bands and artists. There is plenty of parking at the rear of the pub.

The fully stocked bar offers a good selection of real ales, lagers, ciders, spirits and fine wines. Enjoy real ales from Bathams, Hobsons and Holdens or sample the guest ales. Recent guest ales include Enville Beer, Moreland Old Speckled Hen, Cottage Brewery, Green King Brewery and Three Tuns Brewery.

Bed and Breakfast is available at competitive rates. The accommodation includes eleven tastefully decorated en-suite rooms, one of which is a Jacuzzi room, all include modern facilities for your comfort.

The location, on the banks of the River Severn, is excellent for fishing for Barbel, Trout, Chub and Salmon, or nearby the still waters of Hurst Lakes, Boldings Pool and Shatterford Lakes for Coarse & Fly Fishing. For golf enthusiasts, Bridgnorth Golf Club and Worfield Golf Club are within easy reach.

The Black Horse is ideally based for visits to the Cliff Railway, Bridgnorth Castle, Severn Valley Railway, Daniels Mill, Rays Farm Country Matters, Northgate Museum, Dudmaston Hall and the caves that are cut into sandstone that date back as far as the tenth century.
