Grahame Robb Associates wanted to show off the grounds and facilities at St George’s Park, part of the FA’s National Football Centre in Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire, as they run a team-building & leadership centre within the grounds. Our Virtual Tours are a fantastic way of showcasing facilities and simulating the location within any area. When the FA / St George’s Park took over the project we were commissioned to create a site-wide virtual tour encompassing the Football Centre, Hotel, Performance Centre and Leadership Centre.

From start to finish the project took 2 months to complete. We visited 3-4 different times to suit the various operators on site (Hilton Hotel, Grahame Robb, the FA, etc) and took over 40 high resolution panoramas including one high drone aerial panorama to truly give a sense of scale of the grounds. The aerial panorama was created using a purpose-build “heavy lift” drone capable of flying professional dSLR camera equipment used for capturing such high resolution aerial 360 panoramas. We are one of the few companies to use this technology.

The team building & leadership centre is also impressive with climbing walls, towers and rope bridges. Our 8 metre low-level mast setup worked perfectly here to capture 360s from the perspective of someone using the equipment.

Since completion of the virtual tour, we have revisited and shot even more scenes and have plans to visit again this Summer.
